Securing your account
In the Security section, you can update your personal password and protect your account from unauthorized access.
From the Start dashboard page, select Security & Privacy or proceed to the My profile page and then to Security. On this page, you can change your password and enable two-factor authentication.
Two-factor authentication is a login process that includes two verification steps: first, you enter your login and password as usual, and then enter a one-off code sent to your device. Since the code sent to your device is unique, it eliminates the chances of your account being compromised.
In the Two Factor Authentication section, enable this option, enter your cellphone number, and select Submit. Shortly after, you will get an SMS stating that two-factor authentication has been enabled for your account.
The code will be sent every time you log in from a new location. Your location is determined based on your IP address. Note that IP address can change if you switch from the Wi-Fi connection to mobile data.
You can continue using SMS codes or you can configure the authentication app to generate codes for you. Inperium relies on Authy.com for providing two-factor authentication services. Follow the link to install the app. With the app, you can create codes even when your phone is offline.
